What is Medyca?

Medyca is the medical center founded by Dr. Cristina Lenzi, an expert in bioidentical hormones, dedicated to people experiencing menopause, andropause, or thyroid disorders who are seeking targeted, safe, and effective solutions.

We assess hormonal balance, cardiovascular risk, and brain and bone health to design personalized therapeutic pathways aimed at improving energy levels, mood, and quality of life. We offer in-person consultations in Siena as well as online visits, caring for patients throughout Italy and abroad via video consultations.

What medical services do you provide?

Medyca a blend of anti‑aging therapies and home‑visit medicine. Our core services include personalised anti‑aging treatment using bioidentical hormones to help people going through menopause, andropause and thyroid disorders; house‑call visits by multilingual doctors for tourists in Tuscany; and in‑clinic medical appointments at our outpatient facility in central Siena. Patients can book anti‑aging or general medical consultations either in person or via online video calls.

What areas do you cover with your medical services?

Our clinic is based in Siena (Via di Fontebranda 83) for in‑person medical appointments. We also offer house‑call doctor visits across Tuscany for foreign travellers. Beyond these local services, our consultations for anti-aging therapies with bioidentical hormones can be done entirely online (via video calls), allowing us to treat patients anywhere in Italy and even abroad.

What languages are available?

Our doctors speak the following languages: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish. We are able to provide a professional translator for Chinese and Russian.

When no language is specified in the request form, we provide an English-speaking doctor by default.
Kindly be aware that waiting times for other languages may be subject to doctors’ availability.

What are the costs for a medical appointment?

The price varies depending on whether it is a house-call visit, where our doctor comes visit you wherever you are in Tuscany, or an outpatient visit, where you come at our private clinic in Siena city centre. Appointments related to bioidentical hormone therapy have also a different pricing. For all info please refer to our services & pricing page.

I am not available to see a doctor now. Can we arrange for later?

Should you not be able to see a doctor immediately after submitting a request, just clarify your situation & preferences when filling out the request form (i.e. I am available for the appointment after 6pm) and we will suggest an appointment time that suits your needs. If you don’t indicate this in the request form, we will just assume you want to see a doctor as soon as possible.

I am just spending the day in Siena and don't have a hotel room to receive a doctor visit. What can I do?

We have our private clinic in Siena city centre where our doctors can visit you. Please make sure to send us a request form and to specify that you would like to come to our clinic. Our team will confirm a time slot soon.

Please be aware that we DO NOT accept walk-in visits without appointment, so make sure to have a confirmed appointment before arriving.
